Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
O what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchased of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my savior all the day long
Every Easter Sunday, I am appropriately reminded of just how incredibly blessed we are. My heart sings of the goodness of God, my mind basks in the wonder of His grace, and my heart swells at the sound of His name. My lips are on the verge of song as I write this. Every word and every thought brings some wonderful hymn from saints past or chorus of saints present still.
Thou the Father’s best beloved
Thou the throned and sceptered King
Who but Thee should we adoring
All our prayers and praises bring
So blessed are we, Savior Lord in loving Thee
So blessed are we, Savior Lord in loving Thee

We are, indeed, blessed to even know Him. I pray that if you do know Him that He will remind you of His incredible grace and that your soul would celebrate regardless of the circumstance that you find yourself in. If you do not know Him, I earnestly pray that He would reveal Himself to you in an incredible way today so that you, too, would understand why all Christians are so insane about loving their Savior.
Maranatha!
Hopefully, you see in these writings a man who is staying The Course and pursuing The Path amidst the pitfalls and selfish ways of being a son of Adam. I pray earnestly that my writing would encourage some of you by showing you that this journey - though arduous and sometimes tragic - is a journey of great satisfaction. A satisfaction greater than our greatest imaginings. The trials and refining fire of tribulation are to be recognized as a small shadow of the suffering of our Savior so that we can rejoice, as Peter and the disciples did, to be counted worthy to suffer for the sake of the Name.
